A lifelong resident of House District 114, there’s no place Javier Enriquez would rather build his life and career. His grandparents came here from Cuba and worked hard to pave the way for their children and future generations to have a brighter future. Javier’s roots here are deep and grew even deeper during the time he spent at the University of Miami earning his bachelor’s, master’s, and law degrees.
While in law school at UM, Javier established his strong work ethic and commitment to public service. He served as President of the Federalist Society and was an Associate Justice on the SBA Supreme Court during his time in law school. He was the recipient of the Litigation Skills Program Marco A. Vasquez Scholarship and was honored in Who’s Who Among Students in America’s Universities and Colleges before graduating cum laude. Javier also earned a Master’s of Public Administration and a bachelor’s degree in both political science and criminology.
Now he serves the community as an attorney and partner at Jeffrey and Enriquez, where he helps a broad range of clients, primarily in the area of family law. He also has experience in election law and commercial and employment litigation. Javier is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of Florida, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Javier is grateful for the opportunities his grandparents’ sacrifices have given him, and he is very active serving the families and seniors of the community he loves so much. He serves as a board member for the Knights of Columbus Coral Gables Council, Gables Chili Fest, Gulliver Schools Alumni Advisory Council, and the United Nations Women’s Miami Chapter.
